Addressing Dog Behavioral Issues with a Consultation

Because a majority of behavioral problems tend to be a side effect due to lack of proper leadership, then that’s where we start. We will provide you with the knowledge as well as hands on techniques.

Consultations will take place in the home, or if it needs to be where the source of the problem is, then that will be determined while scheduling an appointment. The first consultation can be as long as 2 hours depending on the issue. We can’t ask a dog to please hurry up and get over it, they have no concept of time so we have to be patient when rehabilitating a dog.

Positive results will be seen in the initial consultation and it may be that you will only need the one.

We will teach you how to better understand the use of your energy and body language and how touch and eye contact become a vital way of communicating with your dog. Once we become more in tune to our own instinctual side, then bridging the gap becomes second nature.

However, because so much important information and hands on work and techniques are given, a follow up is recommend so that we can reinforce what was learned and answer any new questions that you may have.

As for follow ups, we leave that decision up to you. Every dog learns at their own pace as do we humans. If questions arise while putting into practice what you have learned we do encourage you to call for guidance.
